For 2019 it was fun developing the branding and building audience engagement through social media.
The design work for 2019 became a lot more moving image based, with videos I produced being used for Instastories, and targeted advertising, which proved very successful in terms of conversion rates. Using video, I create this content using a combination of Premier Pro, After Effects and Illustrator. I also produce a whole range of content for the social channels be it announcement videos, playlists, band interviews or some of the more fun stuff with the bands.
With social media being the most dominant marketing tool for the Community Festival audience, I also created a variety of editable templates in After Effects for the social team to use. I have always felt that the Community branding is fun, playful and flexible, so I enjoy creating new ways of laying out the graphic elements 🙂
Along with the digital pieces, I also work on print campaigns. As well as advertising, print projects also cover the production side of the event including tickets and information packs, and what you see onsite as a festival goer including the full length walkways and stage and screen design. It’s always exciting come festival time to see my work and everyone enjoying it out and about onsite!
