As with every designer, I have projects going on on the side that I do just for fun. And that is how Designed By Lizzi was born!
I’ve always been interested in designing for greeting cards and gifts, but due to the printing costs involved have never been able to take it any further, yet a few months ago a client got in touch about designing some cards and so I got researching the possibilities. With Red Bubble all the products are print on demand and so I no longer have to worry about covering my costs, I can simply enjoy the designing side (which is what I love best!) and if somebody decides to buy them, that is an absolute bonus! I don’t think I’ll be a millionaire this time next week, but it is a fun project to be working on when I’m a bit quiet on the freelance side of things 🙂
